NYC Virtual CIO/CTO Services: IT and Product, One Owner
For New York companies that need one person to own both the internal IT and the product technology, and to build what is missing rather than buy another tool.
Many New York businesses buy IT support from one firm and software from another, and nobody owns how the two fit. NYC virtual CIO/CTO services from me put one person on both: the systems your staff use, the product your customers use, the data between them and the cloud underneath, on Eastern hours. San Francisco and New York fractional CTOs bill $275 to $350 an hour; my plans start at $1,500 a month.

One owner for IT and product
A virtual CIO keeps the business running; a virtual CTO builds what it sells. In a company of 20 to 200 people that is usually one job, and my NYC virtual CIO/CTO services treat it as one: one roadmap, one budget and one person answerable for both.

Events, ticketing and busy nights
miBoletazo is a bilingual event-ticketing platform with assigned seating, protected checkout, digital tickets and venue scanning. New York venues and promoters live on systems like that, where the busiest hour of the year is the one that cannot fail.

Client data kept apart by design
New Yorkβs SHIELD Act asks businesses to protect New Yorkersβ private data with reasonable safeguards. For a platform with many clients the strongest safeguard is structural: a tenant boundary that fails closed and permissions that cannot widen it.
The same four plans as everywhere: $1,500 a month for 20 hours of advisory, $2,800 for 40 hours as a fractional CTO, $4,800 for 80 hours including development, and $8,000 for a full-time equivalent. Ad hoc work is $75 an hour.
Do you work on US hours?
Yes. I work full time on US time zones, remotely, with a weekly working session and the same-day answers a product team needs. I do not have a local office and do not claim one.
Is a virtual CIO different from a virtual CTO?
A CIO looks after the systems the company runs on; a CTO looks after the technology it sells. Small and mid-size companies rarely need two people, so I cover both and say in writing which hours go where.
Do you replace our IT support firm?
Not necessarily. I own the decisions and the architecture; day-to-day support can stay with the firm you have, with clear lines between us.

Have a complex system that needs to be built right?
Whether you are starting from an idea, replacing an existing platform, or scaling a system, let's talk.
