Project overview

A connected platform built around real operating work.

miBoletazo is a Spanish-first event-ticketing platform for concerts, live shows, rodeos, and dances. Its Laravel API supports a React storefront and administration console plus mobile customer and scanning experiences, covering discovery, assigned and general-admission inventory, checkout, digital ticket delivery, venue access, and organizer reporting.

The challenge

The product had to solve connected operational problems.

Rebuild a live legacy ticketing system without losing historical records or issued-ticket traceability, while supporting both general admission and visual assigned seating across web and mobile experiences.

Technical approach

A deliberate technical approach shaped the system.

A versioned Laravel API separates ticketing rules from the React and Expo clients. Atomic seat and quantity holds protect checkout inventory; payment fulfillment issues QR-coded tickets and queues PDF and email delivery. Legacy identifiers and QR tokens are retained during controlled migration so imported tickets remain traceable and scannable.

Event discovery

Every event, its date, city and price at a glance.

Published events from the API, sortable by distance with "Use my location", each showing its date, venue city and lowest ticket price.

Event and checkout

Tickets, fees and availability before the buyer commits.

Each ticket type shows its price with fees, remaining inventory and the per-order limit; buyers choose mobile or digital delivery before paying.

Built for buyers who purchase on their phones.
