I started as a developer in Lahore and grew through team leadership, platform architecture and operating responsibility. The constant has been staying close enough to the implementation to know when the plan and the system are drifting apart.
The story
I started in 2008 in Lahore, writing PHP and .NET in a small team and working closely with designers to sharpen the client-side experience. By 2012 I was leading one, running fortnightly planning and owning the stakeholder conversation as much as the code.
Over the next decade I built a PHP department from scratch to more than 20 developers and designers, moved from leading teams to designing the systems they built — multi-tenant architecture, microservices, message queues, AWS — and learned that the hardest problems on a platform are rarely the ones in the framework documentation.

Since December 2023 I have held two concurrent executive roles: CTO at Omnitech, where I own technical strategy, architecture and delivery across the product portfolio, and COO at Innovation M Services, which I helped found.
What makes me different from most people at this level is that I never stopped reading the migration. I set direction in the boardroom and I still review the schema before it ships.

I started at CTO 24/7 as an intern, then moved into a developer role at xtremax in Lahore — writing PHP and .NET, working closely with the design team on the client-side experience, and learning to write code someone else could pick up and extend.
At LEADconcept I ran fortnightly Scrum planning and owned the stakeholder conversation for the first time, gathering requirements through on-site visits and customer advisory sessions and leading the team that built the web and mobile interfaces behind roughly fifteen concurrent projects.
At Boost2Business in Edmonton I led the web and mobile interfaces for ProfileDriver, a marketing-intelligence platform built on historical Canadian dealership data — importing large-scale CSV data, researching data-mining algorithms to segment customers, and setting the milestones on its roadmap myself. It was the first time the job was a living product rather than a delivered project.
At Computan in Canada I built modular web applications, Laravel REST APIs, and backend dashboards for international clients, picking up Ionic, React Native, and Flutter to ship the mobile side myself. The Pinnacle Hospitality Management System — an internal operations platform with iOS and Android apps for projects, tasks, payroll, and HR — was built end to end in this role and is still live on the App Store and Google Play today.
Leading the DinDin platform meant owning a full restaurant technology suite rather than a single application: online ordering, POS, back-office operations, kitchen and customer displays, and the marketplace integrations that turned GrubHub and DoorDash order emails into native orders with no exposed API to call. This was the point where ‘lead developer’ started meaning ownership of a connected system, not just a codebase.
At Integet, architecture became the whole job rather than part of it — designing microservices that communicated over RabbitMQ, writing the business requirements and technical design documents that guided implementation, and managing the AWS infrastructure, from Elastic Beanstalk and EC2 to Route 53, CodePipeline, and RDS, that the applications actually ran on.
Two roles at once: as CTO I set technology strategy and own architecture and delivery across the product portfolio; as COO — a function I helped build — I carry operating responsibility for the business itself. In this stretch the team has shipped Pulse/MyOmniHub (a modular platform of 61 product modules), IMFlow360 (a multi-tenant POS and business-operations platform on a single ~146-table schema), Omnitech CRM (fail-closed tenant isolation across 22 modules), miBoletazo (a bilingual event-ticketing platform), and Peaches (a self-hosted LLM service that keeps AI features off metered third-party credits) — while growing the engineering department past 20 developers and designers.
